Social activities

We have made arrangements for a conference dinner at Rumi Restaurant, on Friday July 3d, at 7:30 pm.

The cost of the dinner is CAD $55, plus taxes, tips, and beverages (in addition to Moroccan tea, which is included).

Please note: This dinner is not included in the conference registration fees. Each participant will be responsible for paying for their own meal at the restaurant.

Below is the family-style menu. The dishes will be served in the center of each table for sharing.

Cold mezzes : Humus, Labneh, Zeitoun, Marinated Mushrooms, Eggplant caviar, Baba ganoush Naans, Fatoush salad

Hot mezzes : Vegetarian kibbeh, Halloumi

Main dishes :

• Moujjadara : Vegetarian dish with bulgur and lentils
• Djaj : Marinated and grilled chicken
• Kefta Karez : Beef and lamb patties with cherry sauce
• Basmati rice, iranian cooking style with butter and saffron
• Vegetables

  Moroccan tea included.
