We have a preferential rate agreement (starting at $63+tax) with the ZUM MTL summer student hostel, located on Université de Montréal campus.

The eligible period of stay is from June 30, 2026 to July 9, 2026 You can book your stay within this period, with a minimum of 3 nights.

The double rooms can be booked only after April 1st.

Note that Montréal weather can be very hot in the summer and that these rooms have no air conditioning but we were assured that they are well ventilated and equipped with portable fans.

Since there is now a direct connection through the Réseau express métropolitain (REM) between Edouard-Montpetit metro station on the blue line (close to the Faculty of music) and McGill metro Station on the orange line, the area of McGill University, in downtown Montreal is also a good option.

Also, the 4-star Hotel Le Cantlie is offering a discount rate to Timbre 2026 conference participants. The rate will be CAD 249 plus applicable taxes per night for the studios with either one king bed or two queen beds, in single or double occupancy. For additional occupant(s), there will be an extra charge of CAD 30 plus applicable taxes per person per night. Regarding extra nights, this offer can be extended to three nights prior and three nights after the event, subject to availability.
